15 Inch Antique, Petite American Character Doll, Redressed, New Wig! Hello, and welcome! I am a doll collector, thinning out some of my beautiful collection. Today I am offering this adorable American Character doll. She is petite and pretty! She has only been on display. She is 15” or so, and made of composition, except for her lower torso, which is cloth. She is marked on her back shoulders, Petite, Amer. Char. Doll. She has a very sweet face! There are some small scratches on it. She has brown painted eyes. Her wig, suits her well! Her age is approx. c 1920. There is also some cracking to her legs. She has all of her fingers, however some compo is missing from her left thumb. She has been redressed in this lovely blue and white pinstripe dress. It has a matching bonnet and pantaloons. She has exquisite details, like the beaded ribbon flower near the ties of her bonnet. The dress has lovely navy lace at the bottom of the dress, and edging on her puffed sleeves. A beautiful floral trim has been used throughout. This petite girl has on vintage old shoes and socks. She is very clean, and displays beautifully.The stand is not included.
