ca 1940s oversized postcard from Montgomery Alabama promoting WSFA radio's newly installed 190 foot broadcasting tower. This was a CBS station.
WSFA became a landmark in Montgomery and was most famous in its early days for launching the career of country music legend
Hank Williams
, a native of nearby Georgiana, in the 1940s.
Postally unused card measures 5 inches by 7

inches. It is printed in purple ink.
This am station broad-casted at 1410 KC.
As of 23 July 2021 I couldn't find this postcard or image anywhere else on ebay either in current or completed listings
2 rather noticeable noticeable creases: 1 at upper right corner of recto; 1 at lower left corner of recto (see scans 2 & 3); corners very lightly bumped; else good plus, still presentable & sound. Postally unused . . . . . .
NOTE: the somewhat vertical, lightly tinted Moiré pattern lines you see in the sky area are added BY MY SCANNER - they are NOT ON the original view.
