    I am not knowledgeable about these dolls & a kind ebayer sent the following info:
    These are both girl dolls. You have the larger Chatty Baby doll [1962-64], and Tiny Chatty Baby [1963-64]. Mattel used the same body mold for Chatty Cathy [1960-65] and Chatty Baby, so both names appear in the mold mark on the back. Similarly, Tiny Chatty Baby and Tiny Chatty Brother have the same body mold, but the brother was only ever a blond with his hair sewn in with a part on the side.
