This is a rare advertising herald (flyer) promoting theOriginal West End production of the NOEL COWARD and PHILIP BRAHAM musical revue "ON WITH THE DANCE" at the London Pavilion in London. (The production opened April 30th, 1925 and ran for 229 performances.) ..... The revue starred ALICE DELYSIA who introduced the standard "Poor Little Rich Girl" which helped to establish NOEL COWARD as a household name. This six panel, bi-fold herald measures 3 1/2" X 6" inches (10 1/2" X 6" inches when opened) and includes a photo of the star, production credits, partial list of the actors, promotional text, performance times and excerpts from a number of reviews ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light soiling, a corner crease and minor edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
