    This is a rare United Artists Theatre ticket envelope from the June 19th, 1965 screening of the Academy Award winning ALAN JAY LERNER and FREDERICK LOEWE movie musical "MY FAIR LADY" at the United Artists Theatre in Detroit, Michigan ..... Based on the legendary Broadway musical of the same name, the Warner Bros. film starred AUDREY HEPBURN as "Eliza Doolittle" and REX HARRISON, reprising his Broadway role as "Prof. Henry Higgins" and included STANLEY HOLLOWAY, WILFRID HYDE-WHITE, GLADYS COOPER, JEREMY BRETT, THEODORE BIKEL, MONA WASHBOURNE, ISOBEL ELSOM and JOHN HOLLAND. This classic motion picture received twelve Academy Award nominations and eight Oscars, including "Best Picture" ..... DETAILS: The ticket envelope measures 4 1/4" inches by 2 1/2" inches, has the film's logo in the top left corner and advertising for the Statler Hilton on the backside. There is no ticket stub ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing and minor edge wear, this ticket envelope is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any classic film or musical theatre aficionado.
