I used this on a Mac. Β A lot of people have problems setting this printer up for some reason. I included a pic of the setup I use that works for eBay printing. It is important to
change the paper size
to 3.92 by 5.92, and I usually scale to 98%, but if you use the 4x6 set up, you may have to scale lower (to around 95%). If you don't do this, it will cut off the left side usually.
Help section:
I use all Mac computers, so I can not help too much with PC's, but a quick google search usually provides most answers.
Make sure side of the spindle is tight to the roll of labels. The labels should not shift at all side to side. When putting the labels into the feeder, I like to make sure the labels are all the way to the left side (when facing the printer). I find the sensor usually picks it up better this way, and you won't get that many blank label prints before or after, which reduces waste.
If printing starts to show empty spaces on the prints, clean the roller and area around and under the sensor. This is common and can happen frequently depending on how much printing you do.
If it prints the label and extra blank labels afterward, this can be a dirty sensor, the above alignment, or just a bad batch of labels. I have encountered both. Sometimes making sure the roll of labels is wrapped extra tight can fix this. Even brand new rolls can for some reason have this problem. It is annoying but common. I found it is not always best to go with the cheapest labels you can find. The waste you will have will make them expensive.
I listed these common faults because they are the most common issues. At some point in time you will experience these things. I have owned a lot of thermal printers, and it doesn't matter the brand, they all experienced these things.
