    Description

    GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES
    , Large Postcard-style
Herald (Advertising Flyer), 10/94, Goodspeed Opera House, East Haddam, CT
    .
The musical revival first opened in CT at Goodspeed Opera House on 10/05/94 and ran through 01/01/95.  It transfered to NYC on 04/10/95 and ran for only 24 performances.  The front features artwork that represents the title.  The back contains background on the show; some song titles; opening date; performance schedule; critics' quotes and places to go after the show.  The cast includes (not listed) KT Sullivan, Karen Prunzik, Allen Fitzpatrick, George Dvorsky, David Ponting, Jamie Ross, Susan Rush, Carol Swarbrick and Ken Nagy.  Music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Leo Robin, book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields (based on the novel by Anita Loos).  Directed by Charles Repole and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld.
    This is NOT a reproduction!!
    Heralds
are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs.  Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches.  Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
International purchases are subject to a .00 handling fee.
    CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
    IMAGES:
I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
    BILLING:
    Please note:
    The
    eBay automated end-of-auction notice is
    NOT
    my invoice.

I combine multiple wins, add fair postage and handling, and insurance if necessary or at your request.  I ship in specially designed cardboard mailers.    Payment is expected promptly.
