Chicago-Latrobe 29 pieces heavy duty drill set. Heavy-duty, HSS drill with 135 degree split point and black oxide finish. Designed to NAS 907 Type B Specifications for medium to heavy-duty drilling in tougher materials. Excellent for use in hard steels and titanium. Split point eliminates "walking" to improve accuracy and permit quick starting. This drill set features 29 fractional bits ranging from 1/16-inch to 1/2-inch by 64ths, lettered bits from A to Z, and 60 numbered bits from number 1 to number 60. Housed in a rugged indexed steel case with easy-to-read markings including tap information. 1/64-inches set size increment. Manufactured to NAS 907 Type B geometry aerospace specifications. Heavy-duty construction for drilling in tougher materials.135 degree P3 split point is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. Made from premium high speed steel. Heavy duty construction. Black oxide finish increases wear resistance and adds lubricity to improve chip flow. Cutting length is 3 - 4 times the diameter.
