The musical
opened in NYC on 07/27/82 and ran for 2209 performances.  The front features artwork; awards banner; author credits; production credits; performance schedule; ticket schedule and theatre credit.  The back contains critics' quotes.  The tour cast indluded (not listed) Ken Ward, Eydie Alyson, Stan Rubin, Ken Land, Michael Leslie, B.J. Jefferson, Suzzanne Douglas and Louise Robinson.
Music by Alan Menken, lyrics and book by Howard Ashman (based on the film by by Roger Corman, screenplay by Charles Griffith).  Directed by Howard Ashman and choreographed by Edie Cowan.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
Heralds
are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs.  Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
