This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the two-week, Provincial Tour engagement of the RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical comedy "OKLAHOMA!" at Moss' Hippodrome Theatre in Birmingham, England beginning November 6th, 1961. (
The Original West End production opened April 29th, 1947 at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, moved on May 29th, 1950 to the Stoll Theatre and ran for 1543 performances

(Note: No cast members are mentioned by name in the text of the handbill. The credits have been copied from the 1961 Birmingham programme.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of the year "1961" stamped on the backside, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
