Description

I love this deck.  I believe it may be easily restored by someone more knowledgeable about this issue:
The deck has been operating fine, and indeed still mechanically handles tapes as it should.  In the middle of a transfer it stopped sending video output - while the deck continued playing on.
Upon loading a prerecorded tape a single frame of video may appear as the deck verifies the record type, but then that's it - the tape mechanically operates normally but no more video shows up at the outputs. This is true for both the DV (firewire) port as well as the analog (monitor) outputs.
If you're a video tech, have seen this issue before and it sounds like something in your wheel house to fix - well, today is your lucky day.  This deck is sweet and I'm bummed it stop working for me - but, alas I have moved on and perhaps a lucky tech will score a fix on this quality piece of equipment.
Plays DV, DVCam, and HDV tapes both full size and mini, consumer or professional formats. DV and analog outputs, perfect for HDV recording, playback, and transfer.
Sold AS IS - for parts or not working (consistent with eBay descriptions) but may be a simple fix by qualified tech.  Sale includes deck only, no accessories or power supply.
