Thanks for checking out this awesome Sony VO-2600 Videocassette Recorder!
The unit powers on, and everything lights up. The eject button works. As far as operations with a video tape, I have no way of testing that. If this unit is like most vintage Sony equipment I've dealt with in the past, the electronics are fine, but if there are rubber belts involved, they likely need to be replaced.
I'm sorry that the pics are lower quality than my usual, as this unit is so heavy, my staging table can't support it. Take a look at the pics, and if you need to see anything in more detail, don't hesitate to ask.
