Vintage American Doll & Toy Corp. Chuckles doll. She stands 23 inches, has full uncut side part hair with no missing plugs.  Painted features. American Doll & Toy is the same as American Character. This doll has no signs of playwear. There is a small stain on her bloomers in back & a smudge on her dress near the collar. No marks, stains, breaks or chews on her. Very good condition. I think the clothing may be original but not sure. They fit her good. Pink gingham dress over a white button down blouse with matching gingham bloomers that are a little stretched out in the waist. Can't say for sure about the socks & shoes, they fit perfectly. The dress has a satin tag inside that says Caroline. The blouse has a tag that says Made in the Philippines. She stands well on her own or you can lean her against the wall or shelf. I've had her a very long time & have always thought she was just adorable. Selling her as is, as you see her & am happy to answer any questions about this item. Thank you!
