    Description

    This is the headband only to Chatty Cathy's 1961 Party Coat set, stock number # 696 made by Mattel for their wildly popular talking doll. It is made of faux fur, wrapped over a plastic headband frame. The coat alone isn't that hard to find, but what was it with the headband? Little girls seemed to lose it immediately! This particular headband is in nice shape. The plastic inside has no breaks and will grip Chatty's head as it should. The little fox tails trimming the piece, along with the original red flowers and green leaf, are intact. The fur is a bit yellowed with age, common with 50 -year-old faux fur. Nonsmoking estate collection.
