Here's a classic vintage outfit no Barbie doll should go without,
Red Flare!
This outfit on a Black haired Bubblecut doll always makes me think of Jackie Kennedy.  I believe it's very close to an actual outfit Jackie Kennedy wore designed by Oleg Cassini.  The brilliant red velvet of this coat, hat, and matching clutch always brighten any day.

I don't rate anything as "Mint" unless I have just taken it out of the original packaging.  I have collected vintage Barbie for over 30 years, and I scrutinize the items I sell on eBay.  If you have a concern that I didn't cover in my description, please ask me a question:). I am selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay, so you may want to save me as a seller.
The red velvet coat is clean with beautiful unfaded color.  The velvet shows little wear, and the satin lining looks great, see pic #6.  The satin lining doesn't show any yellowing.    The pillbox style hat is also clean with little visible wear to the velvet.   The velvet clutch still has it's rhinestone button and loop closure.  The clutch is clean and looks good; I do notice a very tiny bit of wear in the velvet's nap just above the loop, and a tiny spot of wear on the back bottom center area of the clutch, see pics #4 & 5.  You have to look very closely to see these spots of slight wear; you won't notice them at a normal viewing distance.  The long white gloves are pretty clean, and don't have any runs or holes.  They are a slightly off-white color.  One glove has a tiny "pick" near the top hem on one side, and a small "pick" above the wrist on the other side.  The "pick" near the top hem would be covered by the sleeve, so that glove has a side that will look perfect on display.  The red open toe mules are marked Japan on the bottom of the right shoe, and don't have any splits.
