Vintage Chatty Cathy Doll..
This doll appears to definitely have been pre-loved. I cleaned her up gently so she still has what looks like dirt stains on her arms and legs and some kind of green stain on her elbow (see pictures please) I didn’t want to scrub her too hard but my guess is a magic eraser may remove it. She still has her pull string but is no longer chatty. Outfit was purchased brand new and is handmade by a seamstress. Shoes and socks are new. Hair is good I don’t see any missing plugs but it’s a little frizzy. I also did not want to scrub her face too hard either so it’s not 100% cleared of dirt. There’s also a large piece of clear tape on her side not sure what that’s for but I’m guessing maybe she was starting to crack? Did someone open her up to look at her voice box? I’d like to note that I do not know if she still has this! Arms do not hold a pose. I couldn’t remove all the stains but she’s definitely clean I just didn’t want to be too rough with her. Smoke free home no odors. This doll has some weight to her so shipping is what it is.
